After being bitten by the DJ bug in 1989 Neil honed his skills throughout the early 90's for numerous Free Party outfits playing House and Acid House Music under a variety of guises. During this time he was lucky enough to warm up for many of the Godfathers of House at many of the clubs that became synonymous with the early Dance Music Scene. In 1994 he took the next step on his journey through genres when he became obsessed with the NEW NRG movement, a scene Championed by the legend that was Tony De Vit. After a short break from playing out while attending University he eventually returned to the scene with a 5 year residency for one of the UK's most well known and loved clubs (Lakota Bristol) In 2006 he was inducted in to the TWILIGHT TWINS after a chance meeting with the founder of the outfit (LOUI TWILIGHT TWINS) and for 5 years they rocked clubs all over the South UK as the Electro duo LOUI and BOMBER. Most notably with sets at Ministry of Sound, Electronic Sessions on the Thames and La Dolce Vita Productions. Recently Neil has become disillusioned with the Electro Scene and NOTA BENE was born as an outlet for his more Housey side. The circle is now complete as he heads back to his roots of everything HOUSE!

Electronic music producers are very special individuals, not only do some have the skills, tools and ideas necessary to imagine, write and produce their music, some totally represent it, they share it, they travel it and the most dedicated simply live it. Ben Anders is one of these artists, if not the embodiment of this way of life. Ultimately dedicated to his work, his passion is clear whether he is speaking through words or through his deeply musical, yet strikingly state-of-the-art House music. During his youth, Ben Anders spent his time listening to Metal music and played guitars in various bands. He discovered electronic sounds through Electronica and early House music. After some time he was seduced by the german house and minimal scene. Ben Anders music could be described as a mix between low minimal wounded grooves and deep funky and groovy tech/house sequences. Ben has been deejaying since 10 years. Two years ago he also started producing his own stuff. After some Releases on OFF and Percusa he gets support from Artists like Karotte, Sven Väth, Reboot, Ilario Alicante, Brothers Vibe, DJ WILD, Anthony Collins, Ray Okpara, Livio & Roby, Alex Picone, Patrick Zigon, Gel Abril, Andre Crom, Einzelkind, Julietta, Varoslav, Luciano and many more. In the near future he will release EPs on Percusa, Simple As That, OFF Recordings and his forthcoming own label Seoul Community.

Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! XJ thrives on his crowd’s reaction to his exciting musical journeys, so if you like what you hear and want to see him in action at your event get in touch. New to the scene in Regina, Byron has been tearing it up at the Distrikt for Flatland Fridays, but are now moving to Envy Nightclub the new venue, also has played some other shows as Energy, Blood Orgy, We Own The Night and more. Most defiantly a new and promising Dj. Byron Urzada, Dj Uzzii ( oo ze ) formerly known as DJ Radikal, has had a love for music from an early age. Originally from Spy Hill (a small community in Saskatchewan), but is now residing in the Queen City Regina. Byron's musical pallet is wide, he listens to anything from hip hop to electronic music. Bryon's first party he attended was "Good Life VI" in Saskatoon, and from the energy he felt, he knew from that point on he had to be the one creating that energy. That's where electronic music became the biggest influence he would ever endure. Shortly after his first party he went out and bought his first set of decks, started mixing in his basement, and recording little mixes of his own. Soon Uzzii felt confident enough to start playing at house parties and the local bar in Esterhazy, The Old Central.

Hi, I love DJ'ing, I'm doing it for several years now. I mix different styles of music: chill-out, psybient, ambient, progressive tech/trance, blunted beats, jazz or some abstract atmospheric music. I choose records who have an emotional impact on myself and others. I don't listen to mainstream radio-stations. These days I'm mostly active in psybient, ambient and progressive music. But things evolve, just like life does. Contact: floyd2.0@skynet.be Love&Light

A-Viz: drummer for Austin based Black Metal band Humut Tabal, general Bassline/4x4 tastemaker, admirer and critque, aspiring English professor of Literature. Also interested in Liquid and Jungle, as well as downhome duhty dubs (Whiddla, L-Wiz, Others, etc.). Always down to schmooze it up! Recently I've picked up the old writing bug again and I've decided to incorporate it into my music tastes. So, producers and DJ's, if you want a review of a mix or an original work, more organization to your biography or mix descriptions, anything you can think of, give me a shout and I'd love to do the work for you so you can spend more time at the decks ;) Taking inquiries here or via email, facebook, all that good jazz. Concerning reviews: There exist, unfortunately, a few genres that are either incredibly obscure or not at all to my liking and thus would not serve as effective review material. However, I always keep an open mind so I'm taking whatever you want to submit. Previous works can of course be requested to gaze over and decide if you'd like me to write for you. All the best, prohst!
